Be a Summer Learning Hero & Support Important Local Programs for Palm Springs Youth

Twins Sunshade

As with every home and business in the desert during the extreme heat of the summer, costs go up exponentially for the Club – which reduces funding available for vital programs, services, and trips.

In the summertime, most youth lose 2 months of grade-level equivalency in math computation skills, and those from lower socio-economic backgrounds lose more than two months in reading achievement.

That’s why our summer program is so important! We provide snacks, meals, field trips, uniformed tee shirts, and camp at Pathfinder Ranch for elementary-aged children, along with core academic and sports programs promoting healthy lifestyles and mental well-being. In addition, we offer the WAVE Program in our pool, which helps children gain confidence in the water while learning water safety and aquatic skills.

Please consider becoming a ‘summer learning hero’ and help us bring in the additional funds needed to cover the increased costs associated with operating the Club in the summer.

Having an air-conditioned, safe space for children to be during the summer is essential to keeping them on track academically and developmentally so that they have the tools they need to succeed in their future.

Simply sign up to be a ‘summer learning hero’ by donating whatever you are able. PLUS, if you donate at least $50, we’d like to give you a Summer Learning Heroes sunshade!

Donate at the button below or stop by the Club with a check and pick yours up today. For any contribution above $50 up to $500, you will be recognized in our Circle of Heroes.
