Summer ProgramOur summer program is now underway! Join us for fun-filled games and activities. |
The Boys & Girls Club of Palm Springs is a nonprofit organization offering supervised after school, winter, and summer programs to the youth of the greater Palm Springs, California area. Membership fees are based on a sliding scale and scholarships are available to qualified applicants.
During the school year, the Club is open weekdays from 2 to 6 p.m. (2 to 8 p.m. for the Teen Center on Fridays). Bus service to the Club from many schools is provided by Laidlaw Transit, but parents or guardians must arrange for transportation between the Club and home. During school recesses, the Club operates weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Children ranging in age from first through twelfth grade may attend. Please see our calendar for more information.
Founded in 1948 to develop boys (and in 1989, girls) into responsible adults, the Club serves children from all backgrounds, though special consideration is given to those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Seventy percent of the over 1,000 members who attend annually are from single parent families with incomes below $15,000.
Our trained staff helps kids develop physically, mentally, and emotionally by providing quality activities emphasizing the intersocial skills necessary for each child to become an independent, successful adult.
We invite you to learn more about our programs, facilities, and staff through the information we have compiled here. Should you have any additional questions, feel free to contact us or stop by the clubhouse during the hours noted above. We look forward to serving you.
