New Class Scheduled!
The 2009 Art of Animation class will be held this spring break, April 13 - 17.
Morning classes are scheduled at the Palm Springs Art Museum, where students will draw and color their animation cells. In the afternoon, participants will scan and animate their drawings at the Club's Mary Bremer Patrick Teen Center. A private screening of the finished work is scheduled for Friday, April 17.Cost is only $10 for the week, which includes transportation to and from the museum. Enrollment is open to all middle school girls (6,7, and 8th. grades). Sign up soon at the Teen Center to reserve you spot!
Previous animation projects
We proudly present an animated video, created by middle school girls during a two-week intensive program.
Produced in conjunction with the Girl Scouts San Gorgonio Council, the Palm Springs Art Museum and Minerva Stage, middle-school aged girls hand-drew hundreds of animation cells, ultimately incorporating them with sound into a final DVD release.
